Can someone please help me figure out why I can't get rid of this mod? I deleted every file and folder related to it and followed the mod's uninstallation instructions multiple times but it won't go away. It isn't tied to just save files either, I started a new game but had the same issue on my new character.
It was kind of driving me crazy because I even ended up deleting the meshes and scripts that it added but my weapons still go on my back when I'm in game.

I also tried removing a skeleton replacer mod I installed that was required or recommended but that didn't help either. Now for the life of me I have run into an animation/Mesh problem with Dual Sheath Redux. Recently I found time again to get back into Skyrim and was trying to add all the mods that I thought would make it fun. esp file, the SkyProc patcher files it added, etc. So Im not new to modding having done a lot with Oblivion and some in skyrim. This was after deactivating it from the mod manager, deleting. hey, which of the xmps extended skeletons can i use for dual sheath redux, both 1H swords on back, daggers on back-hip, belt fastened quivers, bbp+hdt & mushrooms the mushrooms are optional. I installed everything in the recommended order, selected all the options for daggers on the back, ran FNIS, ran the Dual Sheath Redux Patch, ran FNIS again, and the damn sheathes still appear on the hips. Using Dual Sheath Redux, Immersive Animations, and XP32 skeleton.
This causes the shield on my characters back to vanish at the moment, i equip something else to the left hand. Dual Sheath Redux daggers not appearing on back they are on the hip. For the game it has a mark like a shout has. BUT, the shield seems to not being included, because it's not a left/right-hand slot. In any case, I tried to remove it by following the instructions on the mod's nexus page but when I got in game my weapons still went on my back. I'm using Dual Sheath Redux and a line in my Skyrim.ini, what causes all favorited gear to be shown at your character, when not equiped.

I decided to try DSR because I liked the idea of having a staff on my back, but when I got in game and noticed it also makes all weapons go on my back I decided I didn't want it (or maybe I was too lazy to try and find out how to set it so only staves go on my back).
